University of Leeds Spins Off a Company Based on Technology Developed in a PVD Product

June 10th: The University of Leeds spins off a company based on technology developed in a PVD Products PLD/MBE-2100 system using a fs laser. The group at Leeds has developed a new technique called Ultrafast Laser Plasma Implantation (ULPI). The company plans to use ULPI in a wide variety unique applications.
